Congratulatory Certificate Request
If you are a citizen of Québec, the Lieutenant Governor of Québec will be honoured to send you a congratulatory certificate on the occasion of your birthday, wedding anniversary, or military retirement.
The Lieutenant Governor may also recognize, in writing, the anniversary of an organization that has been in existence for at least twenty years.
Anniversaries that may be recognized by the Lieutenant Governor:
- Birthdays: Beginning at the 90th birthday, then every five years (95th, 100th, etc.)
- Wedding anniversaries: Beginning at the 50th anniversary, then every five years (55th, 60th, etc.)
- Organization anniversaries: Beginning at the 20th anniversary, then every five years (25th, 30th, etc.)
- Military retirement: Beginning at fifteen years of service.
Congratulatory certificates are provided free of charge.
Framing, if desired, remains the responsibility of the individual making the request.
